Incorporated in 1994, the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) is a public/private sector economic development partnership that serves Dona Ana County, the second most populated county in New Mexico. MVEDA’s public sector partners include the City of Las Cruces, Dona Ana County, New Mexico State University, Dona Ana Community College, the Las Cruces Public Schools, the Village of Hatch, and the New Mexico Economic Development Department. Its 90+ private sector partners are from all sectors of the economy. MVEDA’s core mission is to grow the wealth of Dona Ana County through the creation of economic based job opportunities for its residents.
